Roman Midnight Music
is an indie label in Manhattan
featuring "music ... off the beaten path"
MY HISTORY: I started RMM in Jan. 2009 following a lifelong dream to share the work of musicians I loved with
a larger audience combined with the discovery that I actually enjoyed more often the business of music than
performing (I primarily play bass guitar). My original plan was to open a rehearsal studio/publisher/label but
national economics & available time put a focus on the label first & an end to the studio idea. I also planned to
feature only rock & metal, but fate put me on a different path with the previous introduction into my life of the
wonderful Manhattan lounge pianst Albert Aprigliano. In Oct. I released my first album which was also Albert's
debut after 30 years of avoiding the microphone. Currently, my roster includes 5 artists playing jazz, Latin, rock,
classical, ragtime, avant-garde, spiritual & even literary. In Jan. 2010 I expanded into the territory of online only
releases, which is a growing trend with indie labels in this mp3-ipod-itunes age.
THE FUTURE: I'm always looking for new artists to work with, hobbiest or full-time musician,
who can't find a home elsewhere. I can't offer advances, big billboard promotions & I don't
book gigs, but I can give you a foundation to share your music, I handle all the paperwork
necessary to copyright & manage your music, I do mass distribute to reviewers, I can help
with mastering & artistic design, I give a 50/50 split of all income & distribute to 160 online
sites across the globe. Basically, I can save you a lot of time. Please contact me for details
and/or questions. No, I don't work with CDBaby, if you're wondering, nor will I say why here,
but I will say they only distribute to 60 sites. At this point my music is available only via
mail order or online. Visit Catapult Digital Distribution to see all the website I distribute to.
My physical albums, when available, are printed by Discmakers or Oasis. I'm also available
just to give an opinion or answer music-related questions, no cost.

ALBERT APRIGLIANO
Known for an interpretive emotional style of arrangement which we call F@T Music &
a repertoire that encompasses everything from Arabic music to nostalgia, Mozart to
Meat Loaf, Albert has been entertaining the Manhattan society since graduating in
1980 which he attended from age 10 to getting both a B.A. & M.A. in music. He was
taught by Madame Ania Dorfmann (who recorded for Columbia Records as the first
female soloist featured by Toscanini) & was a classmate of Louis Lorte & Dream
Theater's Jordan Rudess. Albert has played behind Broadway's Patti LuPone, Chip
Zien & Will Chase, opera's Aprile Milo & actresses Lee Meredith & Kyra Sedgwick.
If you're in Manhattan visit the Maestro at the East River Cafe,
a Mediterranean restaurant/bar at 1111 First Ave (at E. 61st St),
playing every Wed. - Sat. 7:15 pm to 11.
Visit Albert's website & check out his music on youtube.
IRVING FIELDS & HIS TRIO
The NY Times called him "the king of cocktail music". Irving (1915-
present) made a name for himself in the 1950's recording Latin
themed music with his trio for Decca Records. Later he recorded a
series of albums fusing Latin with French, Yiddish, Italian, Hawaiian
& other international styles. Since the 1970's he's continued as a
solo pianist expanding his repertoire to Tin Pan Alley style novelty
songs. In late 2010 he'll be releasing his autobiography, co-authored
by Manhattan writer/music expert Tony Sachs, soon available here.
If you're in Manhattan visit Irving at Nino's Tuscany
an Italian restaurant/bar at 117 W 58th St (between 6th/7th Sts),
playing every Tues - Sun 7:00 pm to 10.
Visit Irving's website & check out his music on youtube.

BLANK FACED PROPHET
Blank Faced Prophet is my avant-garde side that brings together a mix of guitars,
keyboards, percussion, loops & effects to crete atmospheric music and beats,
inspired by the idea of creating a transcending musical state while still retaining
an underlying message. Much of my work is either in tribute to or about my guru
guru Adi Da Samraj & attempts to combine New Age musical sounds using metal,
avant-garde and electronic approaches.
